Constantine Engineering provides a suite of GIS services that can be customized based off the client's needs. We use only the industries leading GIS software to collect, refine and manage our client's databases. Our subsurface utility engineering crews collect GPS coordinates along with feature data using Trimble's Utility Center (UC) software. UtilityCenter provides us the means collect attribute data specifically designed for our clients and seamlessly shares that data with our clients. We utilize ESRI's ArcView software to clean up the data collected and then produce maps as need be. The use of these GIS applications allows us to not only collect quality data but enables us to streamline our efforts front end to back end for fast delivery of our services.

Constantine Engineering's WebGIS helps us deliver quality maps to our clients without the expense of other GIS applications. For any entity that does not have the staff or training to support a GIS department, this is a low cost solution. Constantine's WebGIS gives not only the managers and office staff the ability to view the GIS; it also gives the field crews the same benefit. All that is needed is a computer, internet connection and possibly admin rights to install Java. Once installed, the application will stay up on the computer until the application is turned off or the computer is restarted. Depending on the frequency of data changing, the WebGIS can be burnt to disk for future use. The WebGIS has many functions built in for ease of use such as search functionality that will allow the uses to find the feature(s) that they may be looking for. The sample below was created using the above mentioned software and as updates came in, the WebGIS is usually created within 24 hours for viewing. This gives our clients the ability to view the progress of the project and QA/QC the ongoing collection effort.
